Please check all batteries voltage and inner resistance and make sure they are balanced before DIY. All batteries will be tested before shipment but you need to test them too. You must have basic knowledge of electronics and battery assembling. If you know nothing please learn more before doing assembling. No refund or warranty for any unprofessional operation. Some of the cells will have small scratches due to moving or long transportation, but it won't affect usage at all. Hope you don't mind it.

Whether you buy grade A, B or C cells or used LiFePO4 cells, whether they are the same voltage or not, you still need to do the initial balance to bring them to the same state of charge.
Using voltage to determine if they are the same state of charge is unreliable for this chemistry due to the relatively flat charge and discharge curve. This means cells could show the same voltage but be slightly off in state of charge.
Solid initial balance is important so that when you do your first capacity test, you have accurate results. If one of your cells is too high or too low, it triggers your BMS high or low voltage disconnect, and your capacity results will be off.
If you connect cells in parallel to let them naturally balance over time, they will balance but it takes weeks or months depending on your battery bank size. For large battery banks, or if you have variations in cell internal resistance, or if you want to balance capacity accurately, you should do a manual top balance.
