- Heavy-load structure: Forged alloy steel construction for maximum durability
- Precision fit: Ball engagement gap ≤0.2mm for smooth towing
- Weather resistance: Black coating with zinc plating base resists salt spray and UV
- Safety features: Anti-theft chain and anti-slip gasket for secure operation
- Standard compliance: SAE Class III certified for global compatibility
The YD36-009A features integral forging of alloy steel with 7,000 LBS capacity, while the YD36-009B upgrades to ultra-high strength alloy steel with 12,000 LBS capacity. Both models provide precise ball compatibility with engagement gaps ≤0.2mm for vibration-free operation.
Three-layer surface protection (zinc plating + epoxy resin + clear coat) provides excellent weather resistance. The YD36-009A resists salt spray for 72 hours, while the YD36-009B extends this to 96 hours with added ceramic particles.
No fixed channel design allows for flexible adaptation to non-standard trailers. Both models are SAE Class III certified, with YD36-009B additionally passing heavy-duty trailer special tests.
Ideal for RVs up to 3 tons with 2" balls, providing stable towing, salt spray resistance, and quiet operation (≤40 decibels). Custom brackets adapt to channel-free structures without vehicle modification.
Designed for trailers up to 5 tons with 2-5/16" balls, featuring overload warning, enhanced salt spray resistance, and reduced maintenance costs for harsh environments.
Typically caused by improper engagement gaps or tight anti-theft chains. Adjust the gap to 0.1-0.2mm, check chain tension, and clean engagement surfaces.
Consider trailer weight (≤7,000 LBS for 009A, ≤12,000 LBS for 009B), ball diameter (2" or 2-5/16"), and usage scenario (harsh environments favor 009B).
YD36-009A requires Grade 10.9 bolts (60-65N*m), while YD36-009B needs Grade 12.9 bolts (80-85N*m). Always use a digital torque wrench for precise tightening.
