Description
Casting steel double bitt bollard is made of material ASTM A27-70-36 or equivalent and has 8” and 10” with or without horns. The surface of the single bitt bollard is smooth and free from burs which may cut the mooring rope. Casting steel has been heat treated before delivery with good mechanical property and surface quality. Dye penetration test or Magmatic examination will be carried out as required for free of sub-surface defects. We can also satisfy clients’ needs for X-Ray test in the way of the critical area where the force concentrates at the bitt bollard.

- Model Type: Double Bitt Bollard;
- Types: 8”, 10” with or without horns;
- Material Grade: ASTM A27-70-36 C-Mn Casting Steel or equivalent;
- Surface treatment: Sandblasting, can be shop primer painted;
- Quality Control: Material Mechanical Test, Heat treatment, X-Ray, Magmatic examination or dye penetration test if required;
- Certificate: ABS approval, and Mill’s certificate with material property test report.
