1200TPD Rotary Kiln Active Lime Production Line
This complete EPC project for active lime production features a comprehensive system including vertical preheater, rotary kiln, grate cooler, air treatment system, and material handling equipment for efficient 1200 tons per day output.
Production Process Overview
Raw Material Conveying
20-40mm limestone from stock ground is transported to storage silos via high-inclination belt conveyor. Qualified limestone is directed to gravel silos, while material under 10mm is conveyed to powder silos.
Limestone Calcining Process
Preheater utilizes 600-800°C high-temperature gases from rotary kiln for partial decomposition. Material then proceeds to kiln end for high-temperature calcination before entering vertical cooler, where it's cooled to 65°C using cold air.
Finished Product Handling
Final lime products are transported to storage bins via bucket elevator. After screening, qualified active lime with proper particle size is stored for distribution.
Waste Gas Treatment
High-temperature gases from rotary kiln undergo heat exchange in preheater, cooling to below 280°C. Further cooling to under 200°C occurs in multi-tube cooler before final filtration through bag filter and atmospheric discharge.
