Quick Lime Production Process
1. Preheating Stage
Limestone is heated to 900°C using 1150°C kiln gas in the preheater system of the 1000t/d active lime production line.
2. Calcining Process
Hydraulic push rods transfer limestone into the rotary kiln where it is calcined and decomposed into CaO and CO₂ at high temperatures.
3. Cooling System
Decomposed limestone enters the cooler where it is cooled to below 100°C using cold air before final discharge.
4. Waste Gas Treatment
600°C hot air enters the kiln for combustion with coal gas. Waste gas is mixed with cold air, processed through bag dust collectors, and discharged via exhaust fans to the chimney.
5. Storage & Transportation
After cooling, lime is transported to storage silos using vibrating feeders, chain bucket elevators, and belt conveyors.
