Product Description
Chiralzyme IM-100 is a latest immobilized, non-specific lipase developed by KDN Biotech for biopharmaceutical industry. Chiralzyme has high degree of substrate specificity with respect to regio- and enantioselectivity. Chiralzyme can be used in the resolution of racemic alcohols, amines, and acids, in the preparation of optically active compounds from meso substrates, and in selective acylation of different carbohydrates.
Chiralzyme IM 100 is the counter product for 435.
Operational stabilities of methyl butyrate hydrolysis and butyl butyrate synthesis were evaluated. After the third cycle of methyl butyrate hydrolysis, it retained less than 50% of the initial activity, whileChiralzyme IM 100 retained more than 70% after the tenth cycle. However, in the synthesis of butyl butyrate, CALB immobilized on coconut fiber showed a good operational stability when compared to Chiralzyme IM 100, retaining 80% of its initial activity after the sixth cycle of reaction.
