Oil Separator 36014040 For Hitachi Air Oil Separator

Replacement method:

Internal type replacement

Stop the air compressor and close its outlet. Open drain valve to ensure system pressure is zero.
Remove the pipe from the top of the oil air tank. Also remove the line from the cooler to the outlet of the pressure retaining valve.
Remove the return pipe.
Remove the fixing bolts and remove the top cover of the oil air tank.
Take out the old separator and install the new separator.
Install other parts in reverse order according to disassembly.

External type replacement

Close the air compressor, close the exit. Open the drain valve and check whether the system is free of pressure.
Remove the old air-oil separator and put in a new one.
