Digital Switched Medical Gas Manifold, consists of 2- 8 cylinders, for Ambulances

The Digital Medical Gas Manifold can connect multiple Oxygen cylinders at the same time. It aims to reduce the high pressure of the Oxygen cylinders to a certain working pressure before Ventilator start up or Oxygen inhaling. It is equipped with a check-valve between each gas cylinder and the same Manifold respectively, which can help to control the high-pressure pipelines’ gas and to prevent the high-pressure gas cylinders’ gas to flow to the low-pressure gas cylinders.

There are two pressure regulators in the Digital Medical Gas Manifold, the gas pressure and flow for Ventilator and Oxygen Inhaling are preset respectively. Controlled by a switch changeover valve, the role is defined in three directions, Ventilator, OFF and Oxygen Inhaling. When the control Knob is switched to “OFF”, there are no output on the two low-pressure gas outlet connectors; when it is switched to the “Oxygen Inhaling”, the corresponding oxygen inhaling outlet connector has oxygen output, but the ventilator outlet connector has no oxygen output; vice versa.

The gas outlet connector is connected with the corresponding safety valve and LCD screen. The LCD screen is used to monitor the pressure in the high and the low pressure pipes of the manifold, and to display the capacity of the gas cylinder. When the capacity of the gas cylinder is lower than the set value, there is a flashing alarm function. The safety valve automatically exhausts when the output pressure is higher than the max pressure to ensure the flow’s safety and stability.

Cylinder’s pressure value and the remaining capacity

• Gas pressure value display: when it is greater than 2.0MPa, the color of the pressure value displayed on the screen is white; when it is less than 2.0MPa, the color of the pressure value displayed on the screen is red, and the pressure value keeps flashing at this moment;
• Bar of the capacity display: when it is greater than 1.5MPa, the dynamic capacity bar on the screen displays green; the dynamic capacity bar on the screen between 1.5MPa and 1.0MPa displays yellow; the dynamic capacity bar on the screen less than 1.0MPa displays red.
