The hydraulic cylinders for 40 Daylights Plywood Hot Press/PCB/CCL/HPL Hot Press are having the big diameter and long stroke,normally their cylinder body shall be made from seamless tube and welded together and do stress relief before lathe machining and hydraulic testing shall be conducted for each one to make there will be no any leakge;and for some special cases with diameter more than 600mm we must use forged steel and welded them together;for piston we normally use chilled cast iron and sometimes we also use C45 steel rod with heat treatment and surface hardened and chrome plating 0.05mm,and below pls find that specification for this typical cylinder:

Cylinder body:steel 1020 seamless tube and bottom,top forged steel or full forged steel 1020

Piston:C45 forged rod with heat treatment,surface hardened to HRC 48-52,chrome plating 0.05mm or chilled cast iron with surface RA 0.4 and hardness HRC 45

Seal:German brand or Parker

Guide sleeve:Brass 

Hydrauliic testing:30 Mpa Holding time 2 hours
