Product Overview
The TA-201E Total Organic Carbon Analyzer employs high-temperature catalytic combustion oxidation methodology. Samples are introduced into high-temperature combustion tubes and low-temperature reaction tubes with purified oxygen gas. Organic and inorganic carbon compounds are converted to carbon dioxide through catalytic oxidation, with inorganic carbon decomposed via acidification. The resulting CO₂ is transported via carrier gas to a non-dispersive infrared gas detector (NDIR) for precise measurement of total carbon (TC) and inorganic carbon (IC). Total organic carbon (TOC) is calculated as TOC = TC - IC.
