Silicone liquid rubber is called Tin cure silicone rubber which is also called condensation-cure silicone mold rubber, these are high-tear silicone mold rubbers that are known as the “work horse” of the industry because of their performance and economy.
Two-component silicone rubbers are used for the realization of flexible matrices, they are liquid and fliud suitable to be applied by casting (pouring the liquid silicone rubbers on the model).
Application of RTV-2 silicone liquid rubber
mainly used for the reproduction of hand-made articles, from silicone rubber matrices: resins (Unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy resins, polyurethane resins and acrylic resins), Polyurethane elastomers, Natural waxes and synthetic, Plasters and cements, Low-melting point alloy and Wood imitation (PU resin).

How to use the silicone rubber to make a mold
Step 1: Prepare and clean the master piece. Please make sure your original moulds clean and dry.
Step 2: Mixing part A and part B evenly. Take 100g of part A and add 2g of part B and mix the silicone rubber and curing agent evenly.
Step 3: Vacuum degassing, this step takes less than 10 minutes. Otherwise, it will cause a cross-linking reaction, and no further steps will be available.
Step 4: Pouring or brushing. After released the bubble, we can pour/brush the silicone rubber on the master piece.

Storage and Precautions of silicone liquid rubber:
RTV-2 silicone rubber for making art crafts, which is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about one year from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
