Li-Ion Battery BMS Function:
1. Over-discharge protection: When your battery is about to run out and the voltage reaches the minimum required value, the protection board will also be turned off and can no longer be discharged. Your phone will automatically shut down.
2. Overcharge protection: When charging, when the voltage reaches the highest voltage of the battery (4.2V), the protection board will automatically power off and shut down, and cannot be recharged.
3. Short-circuit protection: When your battery is accidentally short-circuited, the protection board will automatically shut down within a few milliseconds and will not be powered on again. The mobile phone battery has a protective plate, which can be used with confidence.
4. Overcurrent protection: When the battery is discharged (used), the protection board will have a maximum current limit (different mobile phones have different requirements), and the protection board will automatically shut down when the discharge exceeds this current.

Q:5. What are the common port and separate port? what is the difference?
A: We take 13S48V16A BMS as an example, common port 16A means your charge cathode and discharge cathode are connected in the same point end(our P-), charge cathode and discharge cathode are used in the common connection port, so the charge current and discharge current are the same 16A. while the separate port is separately connected by charge cathode (C-) and discharge cathode (P-), so the charge current and discharge current is different, discharge current 16A, charge current 8A.
