Technology Application:

 

Through the application of hydrogen generation and PSA purification technology, TECHAIRS obtains hydrogen products for hydrogen fuel cell through a series of chemical and physical processes from fossil raw materials such as methanol and natural gas, biological raw materials such as biogas, industrial raw materials such as syngas and hydrogen rich industrial gas, so as to provide high-purity (ISO14687-2:2012, SAEJ2719:2015, GB/T37244 — 2018) hydrogen raw materials for hydrogen industry hydrogenation station.

Hydrogen generation: In the absence of suitable hydrogen source, hydrogen is produced by chemical reaction with methanol, natural gas, biogas, coal and other chemical raw materials.

Hydrogen purification: The prepared hydrogen contains a large number of impurities, such as CO, CH4, CO2, N2, O2, H2O, etc., which need to be separated and purified by PSA technology, and purified to a very high purity to meet the use of hydrogen fuel cells. The purified hydrogen is transported to the hydrogenation station through pipelines, liquefaction, compression and other ways, and then injected into hydrogen vehicles as energy.

Automated processes

 

The feed gas for PSA can be raw hydrogen from a wide variety of sources, including steam methane reforming, partial oxidation, cryogenic purification, methanol plant purge gases, ethylene offgas, styrene offgas, gasification and ammonia plants.

 

During the PSA process, the hydrogen is recovered and purified at a pressure close to the feed pressure, while adsorbed impurities are removed by lowering the pressure. The PSA tail-gas, which contains the impurities, can then be sent back to the fuel system even without a tail-gas compressor. The entire process is automatic.
