► Brief Introduction
The fetal monitoring module controls the ultrasonic emission of the ultrasonic transducer, receives the echo signals, and receives the signals from TOCO transducer, marker and waker. The ultrasonic transducer is a pulsed Doppler system with a 1.0 MHz ultrasound frequency and reception rate. The fetal monitoring module processes all collected signals, outputs fetal heart sounds, and transfers all monitoring data to the system module.
► Toco Transducer Electrical Check
To test a Toco transducer:
- Power on the monitor and the recorder.
- Connect the transducer to the fetal monitor.
- Gently apply pressure to the Toco sensor.
- Check that the value on the display and paper shows the change in pressure.
