Separate the front and back of the case

To open the monitor and install the internal spares, you must first separate the front and rear units from the cabinet. Separating the front and back of the case:

• Unplug the power cord from the back of the monitor.
• Remove the battery from the screen
• Disconnect all cables from the patient monitor and communication connectors.
• Tilt the monitor and remove the four Torx T20 screws (two top and two bottom) that secure the front and rear enclosures.

• Separate the front and back shells by pulling on the bottom edge of the front shell and slowly and carefully lifting it over the handle.

• Disconnect the keyboard connector from the circuit board by pulling it, then carefully disconnect the ribbon cable from the connector.

• Disconnect the other three cables from the motherboard.

When Assembling the Front and Rear Cases

1. Connect all cables.

2. Reattach the front and back covers by aligning the tabs on the front cover with the handles on the back cover, then slide the front cover over the handle. Connect the two assembly boxes.

3. Install the last four screws and turn on the display. If the display boots normally, run the necessary performance tests
