EverGo's dual battery system provides long operating time. For example, with a setting of 2 and 20 breaths per minute (BPM), with 2 fully charged batteries, the device can operate for 8 hours. Likewise, a setting of 4, 5 or 6 can run for 4 hours under similar circumstances.

The following table shows the approximate usage time at 20 BPM. Your times may vary depending on your activity level and battery condition.

▷ Inserting the Batteries

Your EverGo device comes with two lithium-ion batteries. To insert them correctly, follow these steps.

1. Place the device in a well-ventilated area.

NOTE: EverGo devices ship with batteries removed.

NOTE: The case can only be opened when the EverGo is closed. Never open the lid while the appliance is in operation.

2. Open the top of the case using the zipper located under the flap around the top of the case as shown in the image below. If the appliance has been used, the internal surfaces may be hot. It's normal

3. Check the battery indicator of each battery. To do this, press the PUSH button on the battery and observe how many LEDs light up. If the battery is low, you can charge it.

4. Carefully insert both batteries into the battery compartment at the top of the device. Before inserting each battery, make sure the battery connector on the bottom of the battery is aligned with the arrow next to the battery compartment and that the Respironics logo is facing the inside of the device. Remove the plastic holder to properly seat the battery.

5. To access the battery compartment, remove or insert the secondary battery using the small hinged cover at the top of the case as shown below. See the diagram under the door to show how to insert the battery. Likewise, the Respironics logo should face the inside of the device.

6. After installing the batteries, check that each battery is flush with or slightly below the top of the plastic box. Once fully inserted, the battery is held in place by plastic retaining tabs. If one of the batteries is above the top gray area, it is probably upside down. Remove it and insert it correctly. Do not charge the battery by force.

7. Close the box tightly and hold the zipper firmly when using.

8. Touch the screen once to make the battery icon visible. If you do not see the battery symbol, one or both batteries are installed correctly. Reinsert them if necessary
