Description

Module is designed to acquire and process electrocardiographic (ECG), respiration, invasive pressure, noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP), temperature, cardiac output, and pulse oximetry (SpO2) data for a single adult, pediatric, or neonatal patient. Both waveform and numeric data are provided to the monitor via SDLC communications, for display to the care provider. Each parameter also provides the capability to output recordings of selected information to a variety of recording devices.Each parameter within the module manages its own set of alarm conditions and defines its own user interface.

Internal Systems Connections

This device connects directly to a bedside monitor (Xprezzon, Qube, Qube

Mini) via a specially designed port. It sends data about the patient

parameters to the beside monitor. It does not communicate with any other

devices.

This device does not have encryption capabilities. Module must be connected to a bedside monitor for the data to be viewable. Once a patient has been discharged from the monitor, that patient information will be removed from the device.

The Module receives its time from the bedside monitor it is attached to. When attached to the bedside monitor (Xprezzon, Qube, Qube Mini), it provides time stamps for the internal error logs and NIBP readings.
