Printer Disassembly
1. Lift the PCMCIA cover and remove the large screws that secure the bezel to the housing.
2. Open the printer door and lift the bezel straight up.
3. Remove the recorder assembly by loosening the 4 screws (it is not necessary to remove them completely from the printer frame).
4. Squeeze the paper lifter to release the bosses from the grooves in the roller housing.
5. Rotate the roller housing backwards and it will fall off.
6. Gently pry up on the two washers that secure the printer interconnect board and remove them. Remove the circuit board.
7. Slide the pivot pin out of the printer frame.
8. Disconnect the printer cable from the printhead.
9. Remove the printhead by lifting it from the frame.
