Removing the Printer/ Recorder Motor
Tools Required
• #2 Phillips screwdriver
• Exacto-Knife
• Kapton tape
Preceding steps:
1. Remove the Paper Tray, pull out and press upward on the rear lock.
2. Remove the front panel assembly.
3. Remove the upper shell.
4. Remove the system board.
5. Remove the battery connection plate.
6. Remove the high voltage module components.
7. Remove sensor, print head and motor cable.
8. Remove the system butt plate.
Step 1: Carefully lift the gasket upward with a needle-nose pliers.
Step 2: Remove the mounting screws of the motor bracket
Step 3: Use a screwdriver to pry the motor support, and lift the motor up to complete the disassembly.
