The GE 12L-RS is a linear ergonomic ultrasound transducer probe, the frequency range is 5-13 MHz. It is compatible with GE Logiq, Voluson and Vivid Series Ultrasound System, can be used in various applications, including orthopedic, vascular, pediatric, neonatal, nerve block, needle guidance, peripheral and more. It is capable of 2D, SRI, color doppler, PW doppler, and harmonics imaging modes providing adaptability for most ultrasound needs.

The multi-frequency probe is a new development of the pulse echo transducer. The probe can emit several different ultrasonic pulses, so that high-frequency ultrasound covers the near field, medium-frequency ultrasound covers the transition zone between the near and far fields, and low-frequency ultrasound covers the far field. The unit multi-frequency probe is to bond multiple layers of piezoelectric ceramics (or polymer piezoelectric materials) to each other, lead wires to the electrodes between the layers, and obtain ultrasonic pulse emission of multiple frequencies by exciting different layers. The digital coding of the multi-frequency probe is simple, but it is easy to lose signals.
