The optimal life of a battery pack can only be achieved if it is fully discharged from time to time. An integrated maintenance mode is used for battery care. This function should be activated once a month. In addition:

• If a partially discharged battery is charged several times, its capacity may decrease.

• Under normal temperature conditions, the battery can be charged and discharged for about 2 hours. After 500 times, the lifespan is reduced.

• If the pump is not connected to the mains, the battery will slowly discharge. This can also happen when the pump is not running.

• The battery life is only achieved when the pump is running

A fully charged battery can be used continuously at room temperature.

The battery should only be charged when installed or with equipment approved by the device manufacturer. With the device turned off and at a temperature of 25 °C (77 °F), a fully discharged battery will charge to 80% of its capacity in approximately 2 hours and to 100% of its capacity in approximately 3 hours. While the device is turned on, the battery will charge at a slower rate.
The battery should be charged at temperatures between 0 °C (32 °F) and 45 °C (113 °F). To optimize performance, a fully (or nearly fully) discharged battery should be charged as quickly as possible.
