► CAUTION 

--Do not remove the battery during patient treatment unless the device is connected to AC power, otherwise patient data may be lost. l

--Before removing and replacing the electrocardiograph battery, unplug the power cord from the main power source and press and hold the

On/Standby button (located on the front of the electrocardiograph) for at least two seconds to turn off the electrocardiograph.

--Make sure the electrocardiograph is turned off. When the electrocardiograph is completely turned off, the screen goes dark and the On/Standby

button turns off. After turning off the electrocardiograph, proceed to remove and replace the battery. l

It is normal for the battery to be warm to the touch when you remove it from the electrocardiograph, but this does not cause burns. l

--Follow the battery manufacturer's guidelines for charging and storage.

Note :

--The TC10 is powered by a single lithium-ion battery (part number: 989803185291). 

--With normal use, the battery can be charged up to 90% from a flat battery in as little as four (4) hours.

► Installing the Battery

To insert the battery:

1. Carefully place the device face down on a flat surface.

2. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screws on the battery compartment cover.

3. Remove the battery cover.

4. If replacing a battery, remove the old battery from the battery compartment.

5. Insert the new battery.

6. Replace the battery cover.

7. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the battery cover screws.

8. Connect the power cord to the electrocardiograph. Charge the battery for five hours before operating the electrocardiograph on battery power only.
