Description

The GE E-miniC module is a single width plug-in module. The module is intended for patients weighing more than 5 kg (11 lbs) only. It displays values updated with each breath. Inspiratory and end-expiratory CO2 values are displayed on the screen in both waveform and numerical format. Accommodates hydrodissection systems that are lightweight and have good tilt tolerance.

Main Usage:

1. Through mainstream or sidestream sampling technology, continuously measure end-tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2) and inspired CO2 concentration to help evaluate the patient's ventilation status.

2. Provide carbon dioxide waveform (capnography) to assist in judging whether the airway is unobstructed, whether the endotracheal tube is in the correct position, and ventilation efficiency.

3. As an expansion module of GE anesthesia machine or monitor, it can be integrated with other parameters (such as oxygen concentration, respiratory rate) to improve monitoring efficiency.
