• Printing on Blank Paper: If no print appears, the printhead may be completely damaged, not heating, or have a related circuit failure.
• Printing on Faint or Incomplete Text/Waveforms:
  • Printhead Aging: The thermal element loses sensitivity over time.
  • Printhead Dirty: Coating debris and dust from the thermal paper accumulate on the printhead surface, hindering heat transfer.
  • Improper Print Pressure: Too little pressure can cause poor contact.
• Vertical White Lines on Printed Paper: This indicates that a specific heating point in the printhead is damaged or clogged.
• Dark or Black Horizontal Lines/Bands on Printed Paper: This usually means that a heating point in the printhead is constantly heating, possibly due to an internal short circuit or a driver circuit failure.
• Burnt Marks or an Unpleasant Odor on Paper: The printhead may be severely overheated and the printer should be shut down immediately.
