Functions
The core of the Biocare ECG-300G CPU Board is the CPU subsystem, which interacts with other core components of the device and transmits signals. It primarily consists of the following components:
- Receives lead signals from the data acquisition subsystem via high-speed optocouplers. After digital filtering, gain adjustment, and printer driver processing, the signals are sent to the printer controller to print the ECG waveforms.
- Measures and interprets the lead data. In addition to measuring and interpreting the printed ECG waveforms, the CPU also receives interrupt signals and key codes from the keyboard controller and executes the key interrupt routine. The CPU manages the acquisition and processing of signals such as lead-off detection, paper-out detection, battery capacity management, automatic shutdown, CRO output, and EXT input.
- The printer controller receives instructions and data from the CPU, manages the buffer, and generates control signals for the stepper motor and thermal print head to print the ECG waveforms and related information.
- The keyboard controller generates keyboard scan signals, eliminates key bounce, and sends key codes and interrupt signals to the CPU for further processing.
- The LCD controller receives instructions and data from the CPU and displays the operating status of the unit.
