GE Dash 2000 Patient Monitor NBP NIBP Board 43367259 with Rolling Mini Pump OKEN SEIKO P05C06
► 1. Brief Description
The NBP NIBP Board 43367259 with Rolling Mini Pump is a crucial component of the GE DASH2000 patient monitor, serving as the core hardware for non-invasive blood pressure measurement. It automatically completes the entire inflation, measurement, and deflation process, processing the collected pressure signals to calculate systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean blood pressure, and heart rate.
The NBP NIBP Board with Rolling Mini Pump integrates the pump, solenoid valve, and circuitry onto a single, pluggable board, facilitating maintenance and replacement. If your DASH2000 monitor experiences a NIBP malfunction, you can typically repair it by replacing the entire board.

If a measurement cannot be completed, a status message will be displayed in the NBP value window. Below is a list of status messages in alphabetical order, including monitoring responses and the actions to be taken.
(1). Fault Symptom: Cuff inflation exceeds 5 minutes
* Monitoring Response: System status alarm. Automatic mode will be turned off.
* Solution: Check the cuff; if there is no air in the cuff, try measuring again.
(2). Fault Symptom: DEFLATION FAIL
* Monitoring Response: System status alarm. Automatic mode will be turned off.
* Solution: Remove the cuff and contact a service representative.
(3). Fault Symptom: Inflation failed, check cuff
* Monitoring Response: System status alarm.
* Solution: Check the cuff, connectors, and guide tubes; try another measurement.
(4). Fault Symptom: Maximum cuff pressure exceeded
* Monitoring Response: System status alarm. Automatic mode will be turned off.
* Solution: Remove the cuff and contact a service representative.
(5). Fault Symptom: Measurement time exceeded limit
* Monitoring Response: System status alarm.
* Solution: The patient may be overactive or have arrhythmia. Check the patient; try another measurement.
(6). Fault Manifestation: Hardware Failure

► 4. NBP Test
- A cuff of the appropriate limb size has been selected.
- The cuff is correctly fitted on the patient.
- The patient cable is connected to the monitor.
- The catheter between the cuff and the monitor is not twisted or blocked.
- The correct cuff size has been selected from the non-invasive blood pressure menu.
- Begin the non-invasive blood pressure measurement following the automatic or instantaneous mode procedure detailed in this section, or use the non-invasive blood pressure start/stop control.
- Measurement should be taken in the left arm. Roll up the sleeve before measurement. Only very thin fabrics will affect the measurement.
- Check that the rolled-up sleeve does not compress the blood vessels.
- The arm should be placed in a plane level with the heart. Palm facing upward.
