Description

This connector board is primarily used to connect the mainboard and the pulse oximeter plate on the PM900 patient monitor. Its main function is to facilitate signal and power transmission. The mainboard can supply power to the pulse oximeter plate via the connector board, while ensuring the plate is not damaged by excessive power. The pulse oximeter plate converts the collected physiological signals into data and sends it to the mainboard. The mainboard then filters the data before displaying it on the screen for medical staff to view. The connector board distributes power and filters data signals, ensuring effective cooperation between the mainboard and the pulse oximeter plate.

Functions:

- Signal Transmission and Processing: The pulse oximeter is responsible for collecting the transmitted signals of red and infrared light from the human body and performing preliminary processing. The connection board is responsible for stably transmitting the processed blood oxygen saturation data and pulse signals to the main board for display and storage. The main board can also send control commands to the pulse oximeter via the connection board to adjust the test data to suit different patients' testing conditions.

- Power Supply: The connection board can supply power from the main board or device power supply to the pulse oximeter, ensuring that the sensors, CPU, and processing circuits on the pulse oximeter can function properly.

How to Install?

Note: This procedure should be performed by a professional technician, ensuring the monitor is completely powered off.

- Wear insulated wristbands or gloves, loosen the monitor's screws, and open the monitor casing.

- Locate the mainboard and pulse oximeter plate, usually located inside the monitor and connected together.

- Locate the connecting cables between the mainboard, pulse oximeter plate, and the connection board, and take photos for documentation.

- Disconnect the connecting cables and remove the old connection board.

- Install the new connection board in its original position, then reconnect the connecting cables.

- Safely connect the monitor to power and test. After testing, reassemble the monitor, tighten the screws, and the replacement installation is complete.
