The 60-10331-00 consists of three parts: a red AION 03-31 analyzer module, a transparent sampling tubing, and a white water collection cup.
1. The red AION 03-31 analyzer module:
Measures carbon dioxide (CO₂), nitrous oxide (N₂O), and five anesthetic gases (sevoflurane, isoflurane, enflurane, halothane, and desflurane), collecting patient breath gases and transmitting them to the analyzer.
2. The white water collection cup:
Removes moisture from the patient's exhaled breath, which can interfere with the optical sensor's measurement.
It retains anesthetic gas molecules, preventing condensation from damaging the internal pump and sensor, and ensuring the accuracy of CO₂, N₂O, and halothane measurements.
3. The sample tubing function:
Connects the water trap to the patient's breathing circuit, transmitting gas samples to the module.

- 1. Installation Steps:
Unpack the package and check for any damage to the tubing and ensure the water trap is dry (replace if damp).
Connect one end of the sampling tube to the patient's breathing circuit and the other end to the "Sample In" port of the AION 03-31 module.
Ensure the water trap is placed vertically (to prevent backflow). After starting the monitor, perform the "Gas Module Self-Test" (use only after the self-test passes).
- 2. Usage Notes:
Do not autoclave (this will damage the water trap membrane structure).
Replace the water trap immediately every 24 hours or if more than 5ml of water is found in the trap (to prevent blockage).
Avoid bending/compression of the tubing and keep the airway unobstructed.
