This is the original factory-installed back cover and handle assembly for the Mindray Datascope Passport 2 patient monitor, part number TM 08517-L33. Disassembly Guide:

Before installing or removing the Rear Cover , perform the following:

• Power down the Mindray Datascope Passport 2 Monitor and remove the AC line cord.

• Disconnect all cable assemblies from the left side, right side and rear of the monitor.

• Remove any installed batteries from the monitor.

• Perform all work on a properly grounded work station and place a soft cloth on the surface to protect the monitor.

To Removal of the Rear Cover and Handle Assembly:

1. Lay the monitor face down on the soft protective surface to avoid scratching the front screen and keypad.

2. Locate the fixing screws (or snaps) on the handle bracket. Use a suitable screwdriver to loosen and remove the 2 screws ; if using snaps, gently pry open the handle snaps with a plastic tool.

3. Lift the handle assembly vertically upward to separate it from the rear cover.

4. Remove the 6-8 fixing screws from the edge of the rear cover (positions correspond to the monitor’s rear housing). For snap-on rear covers, use a plastic pry tool to gently separate the snaps along the cover edge.

5. Grasp the rear cover with both hands and pull it backward gently to separate it from the monitor main unit.

6. If there is a ground strap or auxiliary connection wire between the rear cover and the main unit, carefully disconnect it from the corresponding connector.

Usage Precautions:

•Cleaning Method

Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth, or a small amount of neutral detergent (such as diluted soapy water). Never use abrasives, alcohol, or strong corrosive cleaners, as these may damage the casing.

When cleaning, prevent any liquid from flowing into the gaps, interfaces, or vents of the device casing. Never immerse or rinse the device.

•Handle Use

When moving the device, always use its dedicated handle for lifting. Do not pull on the cables or other parts of the monitor; the handle is designed to bear weight.

•Avoid Physical Damage
