►Battery Board Q5BAT02 Installation Steps

1. Turn off all power to the Q5 monitor.

It is recommended to wear an anti-static wrist strap, or touch a grounded metal object before operation to discharge static electricity and prevent damage to the precision circuit board. Prepare a suitable screwdriver for removing the housing and circuit board screws.

2. Remove the back cover. Locate all screws on the back cover and unscrew them all. Carefully pry open the clips through the gaps in the cover and gradually separate the back cover from the front panel. Be gentle to avoid damaging the clips.

3. Remove the old battery board. After opening the back cover, you will see a separate circuit board near the mainboard, connected to one or two cylindrical battery packs. This is the battery board Q5BAT02. Locate the ribbon cable connector between the battery board and the mainboard. The connector usually has a locking mechanism. Do not pull the cable directly. Carefully lift and remove the entire battery board assembly (including the onboard battery).

4. Install the new battery board. Accurately place the new battery board into its original installation position and tighten the screws. Align the ribbon cable with the socket on the mainboard in its original direction. Press or snap the clips back on until you hear a slight "click" or feel a tightness. Gently pull the cable to confirm it is secure.

5. Assembly and Testing. Verify that all connections are secure, no tools or screws are left inside the device, and the battery panel is not short-circuited or malfunctioning. Install the back cover and test it.
