The Q5 monitor is designed to monitor a variety of physiological parameters in patients, including electrocardiogram, ST segment analysis, arrhythmia analysis, heart rate (HR), respiratory rate (RR), body temperature (Temp), pulse oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate (PR), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), invasive blood pressure (IBP), impedance cardiography (ICG), carbon dioxide (CO2), cardiac output (C.O.), anesthetic gas (AG), oxygen (O2) .
This parameter board integrates an NIBP module and multi-parameter signal processing circuitry. Based on a high-density green printed circuit board, it integrates medical-grade pressure sensors, signal filtering chips, interface terminals, and other components. It enables the monitor to acquire multiple vital signs parameters such as ECG, SpO2, IBP, and body temperature, and convert them into standardized digital data that can be displayed, analyzed, and stored by the main system.
Core Role:
1. NIBP Precise Data Acquisition: Built-in pressure sensor and inflation control circuit automatically inflate and deflate the cuff, acquiring pressure signals and calculating systolic, diastolic, and mean blood pressure using proprietary algorithms, outputting stable and reliable blood pressure data.
2. Multi-parameter Signal Processing: Receives raw analog signals from ECG,RESP,SpO₂,TEMP, and respiration modules, converting them into clinically readable digital parameters through filtering, amplification, and calibration algorithms.
3. Data Transmission and Interaction: Synchronously transmits processed parameters to the mainboard, supporting real-time display and alarm system triggering, while also supporting data interaction with external devices.
4. Abnormal Alarm Trigger: Built-in threshold judgment logic triggers an audible and visual alarm when monitored data exceeds a preset range, assisting medical staff in promptly detecting abnormal patient signs.

NIBP Testing:

2. Connect the other end of the cuff extension tube to the BP simulator. Configure the simulator as follows: Preset value: 120/80 (93); Cuff type: Internal Adult.
3. Initiate a blood pressure measurement. Observe whether there is a significant deviation between the measured value (displayed on the monitor) and the simulator’s preset value (typically, a deviation within 3mmHg is acceptable).
Parameter Alarm:
1. An audible and visual alarm will activate based on the alarm priority level;
2. An alarm message will be displayed in the physiological alarm area of the screen;
3. The numeric value of the parameter in alarm will flash;
4. If alarm recording is enabled, the recorder will start capturing alarm data at the preset interval.
Disassemble multi-parameter module:
1. Disconnect the AC power cord of the monitor, remove the built-in battery, and ensure the device is completely powered off. Unscrew the outer casing screws, open the monitor casing, and separate the front and rear panels.
2. Unscrew the stand screws for the multi-parameter module, unplug the connecting wires, and then get the multi-parameter module out.
