The ECG-1210 ECG printer components consist of a printer casing and rollers. The casing is made of sturdy and durable white plastic, and the rollers are made of two stainless steel metal rods. The inside of the casing contains clips that work with the rollers to feed and eject paper during printing, ensuring a quick response and preventing paper jams. It is very durable.

The ECG-1210 utilizes thermal printing technology, at the heart of which is a precision thermal print head. This component consists of a linear array of tiny heating elements. Upon receiving data signals from the main control circuit, specific heating elements rapidly heat up, acting on specially designed thermal paper to produce clear black traces. This eliminates the need for ink or ribbons, avoiding common problems such as jamming or ink leakage, making it particularly suitable for medical environments requiring long-term, continuous, and low-maintenance operation.

►Installing Thermal Printer Paper

The Biocare ECG-1210 uses standard 50mm wide thermal printer paper rolls.

1. Power on the ECG main unit.

Prepare a new roll of 50mm wide thermal paper.

Ensure the paper roll is oriented correctly.

2. Open the paper compartment cover:

Locate the paper compartment on the side or back of the device. There is usually a noticeable groove or cover.

Press and hold the latch on the paper compartment cover or gently push/pull in the indicated direction to open the cover.

3. Insert the paper roll:

Place the paper roll into the circular slot in the paper compartment, ensuring the roll can rotate freely.

Pull out a small section of the paper roll and place it along the paper path inside the compartment.

Ensure the paper is flat and free of wrinkles or misalignment.

4. Close the cover and feed the paper:

Gently close the paper compartment cover until you hear a "click" sound, indicating it is locked.

Reconnect the power and turn on the device.

After the device starts, observe whether the paper feeds smoothly. If it is misaligned, you need to reopen the paper compartment and adjust it.
