Description

Purpose:

- During fetal heart rate monitoring, medical staff can send a "mark" signal to the monitor by pressing the foot switch. After receiving the signal, the monitor will put an obvious mark on the real-time tracing of the uterine contraction curve (ST curve).

- Used to mark specific clinical event time points. This helps doctors to accurately correspond to the time when the event occurs when they subsequently analyze the relationship between fetal heart rate, uterine contractions, and fetal movements, thereby making a more accurate diagnosis.

Notice:

- Vulnerable Parts: Common fault points in connector cables are often not in the middle of the cable, but at the crimp terminals at both ends. Especially the solder joints of external interfaces where frequent plugging and unplugging occurs, and the gold finger contact points of the internal FPC cable, are prone to breakage due to oxidation or excessive bending.

- Insertion and Unplugging Technique: Ensure the cable is flat and properly positioned during installation; otherwise, the device may not recognize the external marking device, or a continuous marking malfunction may occur.

- Foolproof Design: Mindray's original connectors usually have a foolproof notch. Reverse insertion not only prevents insertion but may also damage the socket or burn out the interface board; this should be noted.
