Clinical Functions

 

1. Arrhythmia Monitoring
The most prominent clinical function of the 31668U interface board is its ability to detect life-threatening arrhythmias, enabling the monitor to automatically identify and alarm, promptly alerting medical staff.

 

2. Respiratory Monitoring
In addition to ECG monitoring, the ECG interface board also features respiratory monitoring. The PRO1000 monitor monitors the patient's respiratory rate using the thoracic impedance method, with a respiratory monitoring range of 6-120 breaths/min for adults/children and 6-180 breaths/min for newborns.

 

3. Alarm Function
The 31668U interface board supports an alarm function. When the heart rate exceeds a set value or an arrhythmia event is detected, the system will trigger an audible and visual alarm.

 

►Installation and Connection

 

1. Locate the parameter module on the back of the monitor. Disassemble the front cover of the module, paying attention to the internal cables and interfaces. Insert the 31668U interface into the ECG interface and secure it tightly. Reassemble the front cover of the module in its original position and push the module horizontally into the monitor until you hear a click.

 

2. Align the main plug of the ECG lead cable with the module interface, ensuring the plug is correctly oriented, and then push it firmly. At this point, the clip/electrode pad at the other end of the lead cable can be left unattached.

 

3. After powering on, enter "Maintenance" or "Configuration" mode. Check the module status in "Module Management." A normal status should display "Online" or "Recognized."

 

4. Signal Testing and Verification

Connect the lead cable to the simulator or use the "Lead Disconnection" function for self-testing: If the main unit alarms "Lead Disconnection" after disconnecting the interface, it indicates normal operation.

After connecting the electrode pads, observe the heart rate value and waveform to confirm there is no severe baseline drift or interference.
