The Mortara ELI250 ECG cable is a 10-lead snap measurement cable, with 10 electrodes at the end of the cable connecting to the patient's limbs and chest. These 10 physical connection points serve as signal sources, which are combined by the instrument's internal lead selector to calculate I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF (6 limb leads) and V1-V6 (6 chest leads), ultimately forming a complete 12-lead ECG waveform.

The cable consists of a main cable and 10 branch cables, and is equipped with a suction bulb for easy movement and measurement at different locations on the patient's chest. It features a double-metal shielding structure that effectively filters out electromagnetic interference from defibrillators, monitors, or other high-frequency equipment, ensuring clear and low-noise waveforms even in environments with strong interference.

Very easy to use, simply insert the main plug of the ECG cable into the port on the back of the Mortara ELI250 main unit, ensuring it is firmly plugged in. Turn on the power and wait for the device to complete its self-test. Check that the screen displays all leads as ready. Wipe the skin of the wrists, ankles, and chest with alcohol swabs to remove oil, sweat, or dead skin, reducing skin impedance. Press the record button; the Mortara ELI250 will usually automatically scan all leads. Observe whether the waveform is clear. After printing, remove the electrodes from the patient first, and finally unplug the main unit cable. Coil the cable in a spiral shape for storage to avoid excessive bending that could break the internal copper wires.
