The Covidien Newport e360 ventilator system is designed to provide continuous or non-continuous ventilation support and monitoring for infants, children, and adults with a tidal volume of 20 ml or greater. Suitable environments include hospitals, hospital-like settings, and intra-hospital transport environments, including:

- General wards, operating rooms, special procedures areas, emergency rooms, and intensive care and critical care areas within hospitals.

- Surgical centers, subacute care centers, and special care facilities, and similar facilities.

- Patient transport within hospitals or similar facilities.

The Newport e360 ventilator provides breathing that is compensated for based on altitude, temperature, humidity, tubing resistance, and compliance. Precise measurement data can be obtained from waveforms, cycles, and trend graphs using the on-screen movable cursor. Easy to use, with an intuitive user interface that provides direct access to commonly used controls. The touchscreen graphical display also includes advanced features, making setup and training quick and easy. The graphical display screen has simple and clear navigation with no hidden options, allowing healthcare professionals to learn how to use it quickly.
