The EDAN CADENCE II fetal monitor's display panel connection cable is a flexible flat cable with multiple internal data lines. It transmits large amounts of image data in parallel or high-speed serial mode, ensuring a high screen refresh rate and preventing stuttering or ghosting. It can drive a high-resolution LCD screen. The high-frequency digital signals transmitted by the display data cable can radiate noise, affecting sensitive fetal heart circuits. Therefore, the connection cable is wrapped with conductive cloth or shielded, and uses highly flexible, bend-resistant materials, allowing the display screen to be adjusted at any angle without easily damaging the connection cable.

Functions:

- Transmitting Image and Interface Data: The cable transmits the pixel information (monitoring interface, values, waveforms, etc.) processed by the motherboard to the LCD screen completely and at high speed, allowing medical staff to see real-time data and operation menus.

- Powering the Screen and Backlight: The cable also supplies power to the screen driver circuit and the backlight LED strip. The backlight boost voltage is high, and the cable has strong insulation to prevent it from conducting electricity.

Faults caused by damaged connection cables:

- The screen is completely black, but the power light is on and there is sound;

- The screen displays a distorted image, regular stripes, or flickering;
