This complete printhead assembly, including the connecting cables, is a key output module of the electrocardiograph (ECG) machine. It is responsible for real-time thermal printing of ECG waveforms, numerical data, and diagnostic reports, directly determining the clarity and completeness of printed medical records.

 

After prolonged high-frequency clinical printing, the printhead core is prone to wear, carbon buildup, and aging. Common malfunctions during daily use include blurry prints, missing lines, uneven color density, and even complete printing failure. Disassembly Steps

Power off the ECG machine completely and disconnect the external power supply before disassembly to prevent circuit burnout caused by live operation. Open the printer compartment cover and remove the internal thermal paper roll to fully expose the printhead fixing position and cable interface.
 
Loosen the fixed buckles and screws of the original printhead, hold the cable connector root steadily, and pull out the wire harness gently. Do not pull the cable body forcibly to avoid breaking the internal wire core or damaging the interface pins. Take out the old printhead assembly and clean dust and carbon deposits inside the printing cabin.
