Description

This NIBP module is a replacement part for the Comen STAR8000C patient monitor. It includes a DC 12V NIBP pump and two solenoid valves. It is mainly used to receive commands from the main control unit, control the 12V air pump to smoothly inflate the cuff, and then accurately vent the air through the stepped deflation valve. At the same time, it transmits the pressure change waveform in the cuff collected by the pressure sensor back to the main control board in real time for analysis and NIBP monitoring.

12V Mini Pump: Responsible for providing the air source. Features include small size, ability to provide sufficient pressure and flow of positive pressure air, and through buffer tank and flow limiting design, it can effectively suppress the inherent pulsating noise during pump operation, making the inflation process smoother.

The solenoid valve assembly comprises two core valves:

- Quick-release valve: This valve opens immediately and fully upon measurement completion or in case of emergency overpressure, rapidly venting gas from the cuff to ensure safety.

- Linear release valve: During measurement, it releases gas in small, stepped increments according to a preset rate.

This is a completely independent, purely mechanical safety valve. If the system malfunctions and the cuff pressure exceeds the absolute safety limit, it will forcibly open to release pressure, serving as the last physical safety barrier.
