Product Description

Mindray BeneHeart D3 Defibrillator High Voltage Capacitor Replacement Part

  • Product Description

This is a high-voltage energy storage capacitor specifically designed for the Mindray BeneHeart D3 Defibrillator Monitor.

Visually, the component features a black cylindrical casing with two terminals topped with blue insulation pads on the head. It comes equipped with red and white wires ending in a standard white connector, allowing for direct plug-and-play connection to the internal circuit board.

As the core "energy reservoir" of the defibrillator, its primary function is to rapidly store high-voltage electrical energy during the charging phase and release a massive current instantly during discharge to perform cardioversion.

This capacitor is characterized by high voltage resistance and fast charge/discharge response. It is the critical replacement part for resolving issues such as "charging failure," "energy delivery failure," or system error codes.

  • The function of the product

This high-voltage capacitor is the core of the defibrillator's energy system. Its function is similar to a camera flash capacitor but with much higher power. When the doctor presses the "Charge" button, it converts the battery's low-voltage DC into high-voltage DC and stores it. When the "Discharge/Shock" button is pressed, it releases the stored energy within milliseconds through the electrode pads to the patient's heart, eliminating ventricular fibrillation or tachycardia to restore sinus rhythm.

Use tips

  • 1. Lethal Danger: This capacitor operates at extremely high voltages and may retain a lethal charge even after power is disconnected. NEVER touch the metal terminals without discharging it first.
  •
  • 2. Polarity Warning: Pay attention to polarity during installation (Red wire is typically positive). Reverse connection can cause the capacitor to explode or burn out the circuit.
  •
  • 3. Professional Service Only: Operation is restricted to engineers qualified in medical device maintenance.
