Product Introduction

The CONTEC CA20M is a handheld capnograph that uses mainstream measurement technology to monitor end‑tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO₂) and airway respiration rate (AwRR) in real time. In addition to CO₂ monitoring, it also measures blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate, making it a compact multi‑parameter device for respiratory and oxygenation assessment.

The monitor connects to the patient's airway via an airway adapter and breathing tube. It is designed for use in emergency departments, ICUs, operating rooms, respiratory wards, and other clinical settings. The device is suitable for adult, paediatric, and infant patients.

Use only the accessories supplied with the device. The airway adapter and SpO₂ probe are designed specifically for this monitor. Using non approved accessories may affect measurement accuracy or safety.

Handle the CO₂ sensor and cable with care. The sensor cable should not be folded or pulled excessively. Damage to the cable or sensor can affect measurement accuracy.

Keep the device and sensor clean. The monitor and its sensor probe should be cleaned and disinfected regularly using the disinfectant specified in the user manual. Always disconnect the device from power before cleaning.
