► Brief Description

The C10-3v is an endocavitary probe featuring a tightly curved array design.

It operates within a frequency range of 3.0–10.0 MHz; the low-frequency end (3 MHz) ensures excellent tissue penetration for visualizing deep pelvic organs, while the high-frequency end (10 MHz) provides superior superficial resolution, facilitating the detection of subtle lesions and structural tissue changes. Its wide 130° field of view effectively expands the scanning area and minimizes blind spots. With a very small curvature radius of approximately 11.5 mm, the probe allows for easier endocavitary manipulation and reduces patient discomfort.

The probe utilizes PureWave crystal technology; compared to traditional piezoelectric ceramic materials, PureWave crystals offer superior electromechanical conversion efficiency and broader bandwidth response. This significantly enhances image penetration and resolution, ensuring clear, uniform clinical images even when scanning challenging patients—such as those with larger body habitus or significant tissue attenuation.

►Clinical Applications of the C10-3v Probe

1.Obstetrics and Gynecology: This is the primary application area for the C10-3v. It provides high-resolution images of the uterus, ovaries, and adnexa, and is widely used for early pregnancy assessment, fetal monitoring, monitoring of follicular development, screening for endometrial lesions, and diagnosing conditions such as uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts.

2.Reproductive Medicine and Fertility Assessment: In assisted reproductive technology, the C10-3v’s exceptional detail resolution makes it an ideal tool for IVF procedures, including follicular monitoring, assessment of ovarian reserve, and guidance during oocyte retrieval.

3.Urology: It can be used for endocavitary ultrasound examinations of the prostate and bladder, aiding in the diagnosis and assessment of conditions such as prostatic hyperplasia and tumors.

►Instructions for Use

1.Turn on the ultrasound system and wait for it to complete the self-test and enter the operating interface.

Connect the C10-3v probe to the designated port on the ultrasound system.

2.Apply an appropriate amount of medical ultrasound coupling gel to the tip inside the protective sheath. Slide the sheath over the probe, ensuring it fully covers the section intended for internal insertion. Secure the sheath to the groove on the probe handle using the elastic band.

3.Hold the probe by its handle during operation, avoiding contact with the probe tip as much as possible.

Gently insert the probe into the patient's body and perform the scan as clinically required.

4.After the examination, gently remove the probe from the patient's body.

Properly dispose of the used protective sheath in accordance with hospital infection control protocols.

Clean the probe using disinfectant wipes specifically designed for ultrasound probes or a hospital-approved disinfection method; do not immerse the probe in liquid.
