Introduction

The 045-001333-01 is an original Mindray high-efficiency HEPA air filter , it is installed inside the ventilator’s air intake system to filter incoming ambient air before it enters the turbine and internal gas delivery modules.

It is responsible for purifying inhaled gases before they are delivered to the patient. As a crucial component of infection control, this filter is essential for maintaining a sterile and safe respiratory environment, especially for immunocompromised patients. It is used extensively in ICUs, emergency rooms, and operating theatres.

Advantages

Provides a high efficiency barrier against airborne contaminants. The filter uses H13-grade HEPA technology to capture 99.95% of particles as small as 0.3 micrometres, including dust, bacteria, viruses, and aerosols.

Protects the ventilator's internal components. Installed at the air intake, the filter prevents dust and particulate matter from entering the ventilator. By keeping the internal mechanisms clean, it helps avoid performance issues and extends the overall lifespan of the device.

Removal

Open the right cover panel of the blower box.

Press the snap at the top of the HEPA filter and pull it out horizontally.

Installation

Push the new HEPA filter (045-001333-01) into the slot.

Ensure it is pushed in to the correct position and is properly seated.

Notice

• Replace the filter regularly in accordance with the 6-month standard cycle. Timely replacement is also required if the filter surface is severely blocked, blackened or damp, even within the service period.

• The replacement interval may need to be shorter in environments with high levels of dust or airborne contaminants. A clogged filter can increase airway resistance and reduce filtration efficiency.
• Inspect the filter during routine maintenance. During regular ventilator servicing, visually check the filter for any signs of damage, discolouration, or blockage.
