Product Description

Mindray IPM7 Patient Monitor Multi Parameter Vital Signs Monitor

Brief introduction

The Mindray iPM 7 is a modular, multi-parameter bedside patient monitor from the iPM series. The monitor is built around a modular, plug in architecture. You start with the basics, ECG, respiration, SpO₂, NIBP, pulse rate, and dual temperature and add capabilities as needed: invasive blood pressure, CO₂ capnography, anaesthesia gas monitoring, respiratory mechanics, BIS,

Function

The iPM 7 tracks ECG (3‑ or 5‑lead), respiration, SpO₂, NIBP, pulse rate, and dual temperature as standard. When the patient's condition becomes more complex, you can add IBP, CO₂, anaesthesia gas, respiratory mechanics, BIS, or cardiac output – all through hot‑swappable modules. The monitor grows with the patient's needs.

The monitor uses Mindray's ECG multi‑lead synchronous analysis – it analyses multiple ECG leads simultaneously, so if one lead is noisy or detached, the monitor can still pull reliable data from the others. It detects over 20 types of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, and automatically identifies pacemaker signals. ST‑segment analysis and QT/QTc measurement are also supported.

Works across all patient populations. The iPM 7 is cleared for adult, paediatric, and neonatal patients. It includes patient‑specific modes that adjust alarm limits and measurement algorithms accordingly.

Starting monitoring

  1. Power on the monitor.

  2. Select the appropriate patient category (adult, paediatric, or neonate).

  3. Verify that all parameter waveforms and numeric data are displayed.

  4. Set alarm limits as appropriate for the patient's condition.

  5. The monitor will begin continuous real‑time monitoring.

Notice

1. The monitor supports hot‑swappable parameter modules, but only Mindray‑specified modules and accessories should be used. Using non‑approved parts may affect measurement accuracy, compromise patient safety, and void the warranty.

2. Select the correct patient category. The monitor supports adult, paediatric, and neonatal patients. Selecting the wrong category can affect alarm limits and measurement accuracy.

3. Keep the monitor clean. The fanless design helps reduce dust accumulation and infection risk, but the exterior should still be wiped regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Disconnect the power before cleaning.

4. Monitor battery status. The internal lithium battery provides at least 4 hours of runtime. When running on battery, keep an eye on the battery indicator. Charge the battery when not in use.
