1. Multi-parameter Acquisition: The module independently acquires and processes all signals including ECG, respiration, blood oxygen saturation, non-invasive blood pressure, invasive pressure, and body temperature; it supports 3-5-10 lead ECG.

Convenient Patient Transfer: When transferring patients clinically, simply unplug the MMX module along with all cables from the patient end and plug it into another compatible monitor; patient information, alarm thresholds, and historical trends are all migrated with the module without the need for rewiring or parameter resetting.

3. Modular Expansion Capability: The module supports external expansion sub-modules, allowing the addition of parameters such as end-tidal monitoring and additional invasive pressure channels; no complete hardware replacement is required, meeting the monitoring needs of different levels in general wards and ICUs.

4. Independent Self-Test and Fault Isolation: The module performs a complete self-test upon startup; parameter errors can be quickly identified as either a module-specific or host-specific fault; in case of a fault, the MMX module can be directly replaced, while the host continues to function, reducing overall system downtime.

A2: No, they cannot be directly interchanged. The hardware interfaces and communication protocols are different.

A2: First, check if the host firmware version is up to standard, and check for oxidation or deformation of the pins on the back-end interface. Hardware damage to the module can also cause communication failures.
