Tram module problems

1. Verify that the patient or simulator leads are properly connected to the tram module in the tram housing.
2. Verify that the tram module is fully inserted and turned on.
3. Verify that the tram cover is open.
4. Select the Software revision menu and verify that the software file number for the RACCOMM, RACDAS or TRAM module exists. „
- If an incompatible software REV message is displayed, refer to "Changing the software level".
- Check for loose or faulty cables from the patient monitor to the tram housing. „
- Circulates power to the outer shell of the tram. „
- View the error log for the TRAM module and patient monitor.
- Replace the tram module with a known good module. „
- The streetcar-style housing was replaced with a known good housing.

Tram housing
Tram housing (remote acquisition case) to acquire patient data for patient monitor. There are two Tram 2 enclosures available for the display: „
--Tram 2 housing - accommodates one Tram module. „
--Tram - rac4A housing - contains one tram module and two additional single-height modules. Shown below is a tram-rac4a enclosure with a tram module and two single-parameter modules plugged into it.
TRAM-NET provides a network to communicate with bedside periPHiliphhiliperals and acquisition modules.
NOTE: If any configuration has two tram connected, there must be power. The following devices can be connected to one of the two TRAM-NET ports on the Solar8000M/i monitor. The connector is 9-pin, D-type.
- Tram-rac4a housing with or without power
- Tram-rac2 housing
- Tram-rac4 housing with or without power supply
- Patient Data Module (PDM) connected to TRAM-NET2/ePort connector

Cautions
Beware of equipment damage. Before plugging the power cord into an AC outlet, connect the trolley case to the solar powered 8000M/i patient monitor. Connecting these devices to a powered solar powered 8000M/i patient monitor may damage the connectors.
