The PHiliphhilip M1194A SpO2 sensor measures the perfusion of the ear and obtains consistent SpO2 data even in surgery and hypoperfusion patients. It clips gently and securely to the earlobe and is suitable for patients over 40 kg (88 lb).

In patients with hypoperfusion states such as severe shock, sepsis, hypovolemia, vasoconstriction, and periPHiliphhiliperal vascular disease, it is beneficial to measure oxygenation at a central site (eg, the earlobe). The earlobe is easily accessible, has small blood vessels, and provides a quick response rate. The M1194A is also ideal for surgical patients as fingers are often out of reach during surgery
