D-fend water traps help protect respirator from moisture, secretions, viruses and bacteria. The D-fend water collector is suitable for ventilation modules in anesthesia and intensive care environments.

The M1182629 D-fend Pro water collector is for multiple patients, while the M1200227 D-fend Pro+ water collector is for single patient use.

Green M1200227, D-fend Pro+ water collector, can be used in an operating room environment, but please note the replacement time according to the instructions for use, which specifies a maximum of 24 hours of use and must be replaced after each patient.

The water collector provides protection for the breathing module.

The PTFE membrane of the D-fend Pro and D-fend Pro+ water traps inhibits the entry of bacteria, viruses, water and mucus into the respiration measurement system.

Maintenance

Do not wash, dry, sanitize or reuse exhausted/clogged water traps. When cleaning the exterior of the module, keep the trap and gas sampling line connected to prevent cleaning agents from entering the trap or gas module
