2653 Masima LNCS DBI Adult Soft Reusable Sensor, 3 Ft. 1/Box,>30kg
The DBI series of reusable soft sensors are suitable for continuous non-invasive monitoring and spot-checking of arterial hemoglobin (SpO2) and pulse rate (measured by SpO2 sensors) for functional oxygen saturation in adult and pediatric patients under non-exercise conditions, as well as in hospitals , hospital-type facilities, well- or poorly-perfused patients in mobile and home environments
Attaching the Sensor to the Patient
1. Secure the sensor to the top with a star and cable. Press the side of the sensor to open the sensor. Insert the selected number into the sensor.
2. Orient the sensor so that the cable faces the top of the patient's hand. Your fingertips should touch the raised digital stops inside the bottom of the sensor. If the fingernail is long, it may pass through the opening at the end of the sensor. Check the sensor placement to verify proper positioning. Release the sides of the sensor. Requires full coverage of the detector to ensure accurate data
Attaching the Sensor to the Patient Cable or Device
Refer to Fig. 3,Correctly position the sensor connector (1) and fully insert it into the patient cable connector (2). Close the protective cover completely(3)
Connect directly to the device
1. Connect the sensor directly to a device containing (or licensed to use) Masima SET technology or Masima rainbow SET technology.
NOTE: For more information, see the device user manual.
Disconnect the sensor from the patient cable or device
NOTE: To avoid damage, pull on the sensor connector, not the cable.
LNCS DBI
1. See Figure 4. Lift the protective cover (1) to access the sensor connector (2). Pull firmly on the sensor connector (2) to remove it from the patient cable (3).
Connect directly to the device
1. See Figure 5. Place your thumb and index finger on the buttons (1) on either side of the sensor device connector (2). Firmly press the button and pull to remove the connector from the device.
Remove the sensor from the patient:
LNCS DBI and direct connection to device
1. Open the sensor by pressing on the sides and pull gently to remove the sensor from the patient.
2. Follow the cleaning instructions.
