Removing the main key board

1. Remove the battery, memory card and lowercase letters. See. "Removing the Lower Enclosure Cover".

2 Remove the main case and motherboard.

3. Disconnect the following cables. Rotary switch cable.

• CNA201 cable: connect to a test load.

• CNA102 membrane cable: connects to and from the main keyboard.

To remove the membrane cable from the membrane cable connector, use a small flat blade driver and your finger to gently unlock the membrane cable connector, as shown in the enlarged view. Please note that the membrane cable connector is fragile.

4. Remove the three M3 disc screws with washers and spring washers, then remove the main keyboard.

5. Remove the two M3 disc screws with washers and spring washers, then remove the keyboard. Remove the Energy/Mode Selection control knob on the front panel.

1) Remove the two variable screws on the power/mode select control button.

2) Remove the knob, nut, washer and O-ring from the rotary switch
